Abstract

Researchers at Shanxi Medical University in Taiyuan, People's Republic of China, have developed a new method for extracting and quantifying cinnamic acid derivatives in traditional Chinese medicines using a hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent. The method, which involves hand-assisted dispersion and narrow-bore tubes, allows for rapid and efficient extraction with high enrichment factors and satisfactory precision and accuracy. This study, supported by various foundations, offers a convenient approach for preconcentrating cinnamic acid derivatives in Chinese medicinal samples. [Extracted from the article]
