Abstract
- In this regard, this work spent a year studying the process of photodestruction of painted recycled polyethylene terephthalate bottles in natural (Central Asia) and accelerated (UV climatic chamber) conditions under the influence of UV radiation. As a result of the studies, it was found that the average molecular weight of the transparent sample decreased to 7-8%, and the average molecular weight of the colored sample decreased to 15-36% in two different conditions. The resulting RPET color sources, in turn, worsen the physical and mechanical properties of the fiber after processing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
