Abstract

This research presents the methodology that was used to monitor two industrial processes within a PROFINET Industrial Communication Network, client/server, through intelligent devices. In order to achieve this, the functionality of the hydraulic equipment was first verified by measuring the dielectric absorption and drawing the characteristic curve of the system's pump motor group. Second, flow control valves, pressure regulating valves, directional valves and solenoid valves were selected and installed. Third, the control board was designed and built. Fourth, the operation sequence was programmed to automate the hydraulic processes in the teaching modules. Fifth, the Profinet Industrial Network was designed and configured where the S7-1500 PLC is the server, the S7-1200 PLCs are the clients and monitoring is carried out through the TP 700 HMI and 4 mobile devices. As a result, a SCADA system was obtained that generates production reports, historical behavior of the process variables, as well as alarm reports. Finally, technological integration between general-purpose devices in an industrial system was achieved. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
