Abstract

Knowledge sharing between cooperative partners is the key to the success of cooperative innovation projects (CIPs). Understanding the knowledge sharing behaviour of cooperative partners is conducive to the development of cooperative innovation project management. From the perspective of cooperative partners, this study explores the effects of the status of cooperative partners on knowledge sharing behaviour, as well as the moderating effects of task complexity in CIPs. Based on a survey of 174 CIPs, the research results show that the status of cooperative partners has a positive impact on both explicit and tacit knowledge sharing behaviours. Meanwhile, task complexity positively moderates the impact of the status of the cooperative partners on explicit and tacit knowledge-sharing behaviours. Thus, this study provides a cooperative partner's subjective perspective on cooperative behaviour of CIPs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
