Abstract
- Researchers at the University of Colorado conducted a study on the impact of time to initiation of targeted temperature management (TTM) among patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The study found that delays in TTM initiation of two hours or more were associated with decreased odds of neurologically favorable survival among patients without ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) who underwent PCI. The research, which has been peer-reviewed, provides valuable insights into improving outcomes for patients with ventricular fibrillation. [Extracted from the article]
