Abstract

A study conducted at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran focused on the impact of problem-solving skills on stress coping styles and emotional self-efficacy in mothers of preterm neonates. The randomized clinical trial involved 60 mothers in neonatal intensive care units, with the intervention group receiving training on problem-solving skills. Results showed an increase in problem-focused coping, a decrease in emotion-focused coping, and an improvement in emotional self-efficacy in the intervention group. The research suggests that implementing problem-solving skills in NICUs can help mothers better manage stress and enhance their emotional self-efficacy. [Extracted from the article]
