Abstract
- A randomized phase III trial, NCT06625034, compares the effects of radiation therapy using RapidPlan knowledge-based planning to human-driven planning for treating prostate cancer. RapidPlan automatically creates an optimal treatment plan based on identified targets and organs at risk, while human-driven planning requires significant resources and time. The trial aims to determine if RapidPlan is non-inferior to human-driven planning in terms of treatment-related adverse events, with a primary completion date of November 30, 2032. The study is not yet recruiting and will enroll 108 male participants in the United States. [Extracted from the article]
