Abstract

Researchers at Tianjin University in China have developed a new approach to treating Alzheimer's disease using serum albumin-embedded copper nanoclusters. These nanoclusters demonstrated the ability to inhibit the aggregation of beta-amyloid fibrils and reduce neuroinflammation associated with the disease. The study, supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, showed promising results in inhibiting key pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease. The findings suggest a potential new treatment strategy for this neurodegenerative condition. [Extracted from the article]
