Abstract
- Researchers at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Malaysia conducted a study on the adoption of mobile applications in the oil and gas industry, specifically focusing on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices. The research highlighted the importance of trustworthiness and user attitudes in influencing employees' intentions to use mobile apps for workplace safety. By analyzing factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitude towards the app, the study aimed to improve OHS protocols through the strategic use of mobile devices. The findings contribute empirical evidence to the literature on mobile app adoption in the industry, emphasizing the role of technology in enhancing workplace safety standards.
