Abstract
- A study conducted by Kerman University of Medical Sciences in Iran focused on investigating the characteristics of hydatid cyst patients referred to health centers in Kerman City from 2011 to 2020. The research analyzed data from 115 patients, revealing that the majority of patients were female, aged between 20 to 40 years, and lived in urban areas. Common symptoms included nausea, chest pain, and cough, with the lungs and liver being the most affected organs. The study emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the disease, educating families on transmission, and controlling stray dogs to prevent further infections. [Extracted from the article]
