Abstract
- Researchers at Tanta University conducted a study on the inhibition of malate dehydrogenase in MCF-7 breast carcinoma cells using nanoselenium coupled with nanocellulose composite. The research aimed to explore the potential of these compounds as effective anticancer agents, demonstrating a significant decrease in cancer cell viability without harming normal cells. The study highlighted the promising therapeutic benefits of nanocellulose, nanoselenium, and their nanocomposite in breast cancer treatment, suggesting the need for further investigation into their mechanisms of action. The findings were published in Cancer Nanotechnology and funded by Tanta University. [Extracted from the article]
