Abstract

The article assesses the feasibility of rice husk ash (RHA) as an additive material in binary blended Portland Pozzolana Cement for road pavement applications. The experiment examines the impact of RHA on the tensile, split tensile and compressive strengths of the concrete at five replacement levels and various curing durations. It determines the optimal quantity and flexural strength of RHA as a cement substitute.
