Abstract

Swedish prog metal band Opeth has released their 14th album, "The Last Will And Testament," which sees a return to their death metal roots after 16 years. The album explores complex themes through a pre-World War II-era concept and is described as their most progressive yet. Opeth's frontman, Mikael Åkerfeldt, reflects on his changing perspective over the years and the album delves into the theme of family dynamics and inheritance. The album features guest appearances from Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and Joey Tempest of Europe. Opeth continues to push boundaries and seek new challenges in their live performances.
