Abstract
- A recent study conducted by Hiroshima University in Japan examined the use of tranexamic acid (TXA) in children with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). The study analyzed data from 342 patients and found that TXA administration was not associated with increased mortality or poor neurological outcomes. However, the researchers concluded that further prospective clinical trials are needed to fully understand the effects of TXA in pediatric TBI cases. This study provides valuable insights into the potential use of TXA in treating brain injuries in children. [Extracted from the article]
