Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Harbin Medical University explores the role of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARg) in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). NAFLD is a chronic condition characterized by liver dysfunction and the accumulation of fat and extracellular matrix. The study aims to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying NAFLD and the potential therapeutic effects of PPARg. The research findings provide new insights into the pathogenesis of NAFLD and may contribute to the development of specific therapeutic strategies. [Extracted from the article]
