Abstract
- A recent report from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine highlights the effectiveness of teclistamab, a bispecific antibody, in treating pericardial effusion in patients with relapsed multiple myeloma. Pericardial involvement is a rare manifestation of multiple myeloma, and there have been few documented cases of pericardial effusion as an extramedullary relapse presentation. The use of bispecific antibodies, such as teclistamab, has shown great effectiveness in treating relapsed refractory multiple myeloma, including cases with extramedullary disease. This research provides valuable insights into the potential of immunotherapy drugs for the treatment of multiple myeloma. [Extracted from the article]
