Abstract

This document presents the findings of a study on risk factors for early death in severe non-brain-injured trauma patients. The study analyzed various indicators, including Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score, spinal injury, blood pH, and clotting function, to determine their predictive value for early death. The results showed that lower GCS scores, spinal injury, lower blood pH, and longer activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) were associated with increased early death. The combination of these indicators had the highest predictive value for early death. However, the study had limitations, such as its retrospective design and small sample size.
