Abstract
- For complex geometry shells, the approximate interaction model with piecewise continuous deformable bases located on the facial surfaces of the shell is considered. On the basis of equations obtained, a numerical technique for solution of statics and thermoelasticity tasks of shells of various classes, including shells of complex geometry, is developed on the base of combination of finite sums method and differential forms of finite element method. The use of the described model made it possible to analyze the strength of shell elements of aircraft structures with non-traditional methods of fastening. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
