Researchers at Hebei University of Technology in Tianjin, China have developed a new breast cancer detection model based on multi-scale feature reinforcement network. The model, called Multi-scale Reinforcement Breast Mass Detection Network (MRBMDNet), utilizes deep learning-based approaches to accurately detect masses from X-ray images. The researchers incorporated the Multi-scale Reinforcement Feature Pyramid Network (MRFPN) into Faster RCNN to enhance the network's capability to detect objects of arbitrary sizes.
