Abstract
- Researchers at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China have developed a novel graph-based approach to accurately track landmarks in laparoscopic surgery. The approach explicitly models the evolving spatial relations over time among observable regions, surgical tools, and landmarks. By mitigating domain shifts and using message passing with attention, the researchers were able to enhance the stability and reliability of intricate surgical tasks.
