Abstract
- This document provides information about a clinical study conducted in Turkey that aims to compare the effectiveness of two different nerve block procedures for pain management in patients with femur fractures. The study, which is not yet recruiting participants, plans to enroll 52 patients and collect data until September 1, 2025. The primary goal of the study is to assess the postoperative analgesic efficacy of the Quadroiliac Plane Block (QIPB) and Pericapsular Nerve Group (PENG) block, using the visual analog scale (VAS) to measure pain levels and recording opioid consumption. The study will also include routine postoperative pain management with intravenous paracetamol. [Extracted from the article]
