Abstract
- Researchers from Mansoura University have conducted a study on renal cell carcinoma (RCC), the most fatal form of renal tumors. The study aimed to differentiate between RCC subtypes using intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) diffusion-weighted MRI. The results showed that clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC) had the highest values of f and D, followed by chromophobe renal cell carcinoma (ChRCC), while papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) had the lowest values. IVIM can be utilized to distinguish between different subtypes of RCC. [Extracted from the article]
