Abstract

Researchers from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China have developed a nanomachine for gene silencing therapy in cervical cancer cells. The nanomachine utilizes chiral gold nanoparticles as a nanocarrier and an entropy-driven DNAzyme circuit for miRNA imaging and gene silencing. The nanomachine showed improved targeting and efficiency compared to other nanoparticles. This research has promising implications for optimizing delivery specificity and reducing off-target toxicities in cancer therapy. [Extracted from the article]
