Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at East China Normal University explores the effects of two-person synchronized cycling exercise on interpersonal cooperation. The study involved 80 college students who were randomly assigned to an experimental group or a control group. The results showed that the dyads in the experimental group, who performed synchronized cycling exercise, exhibited higher levels of cooperation compared to the control group. Brain data also revealed increased neural synchronization in the prefrontal cortex of the dyads in the experimental group. This research provides new insights into the neural mechanisms underlying the promotion of interpersonal cooperation through synchronized exercise. [Extracted from the article]
