Abstract
- A recent preprint abstract from biorxiv.org discusses the differentiation between congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN) and common acquired melanocytic nevi (AMN), which are both skin conditions associated with melanoma. The abstract suggests that whole-genome methylation analysis can be used to further study dermatopathology and gain new insights into nevus biology. It is important to note that this preprint has not yet undergone peer review. For more information, the full research can be found at biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.06.11.598516v2.
