Abstract
- A study conducted at Government Medical College in Kerala, India compared the effectiveness of a flipped classroom approach to traditional lecture in teaching rational drug prescription to undergraduate pharmacology students. The study found that there was no statistically significant difference in academic scores between the two methods. However, students in the flipped classroom group reported more positive perceptions of the method, including improved academic scores, peer interaction, teamwork, and teacher-student interaction. This research highlights the importance of rational drug prescription and provides insights into different teaching methods for this subject. [Extracted from the article]
