Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Sargodha in Punjab, Pakistan, explored the effects of Carissa carandus fruit pulp extract on the pancreatic histopathologies of mice treated with Carbofuran. The study found that Carbofuran had toxic effects on the endocrine and exocrine pancreas, causing degenerative effects such as lipid droplets and lipid steatosis. However, the administration of Carissa carandus fruit pulp extract reversed these effects, indicating its potential as a rescuing and regenerative agent. This research provides valuable insights into the mitigating properties of Carissa carandus fruit pulp in dentistry. [Extracted from the article]
