Society for Neuroscience 2024 Promotion of Women in Neuroscience Awards.

The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) will be recognizing seven researchers for their contributions to the advancement of women in neuroscience. The awards will be presented at SfN's annual meeting, Neuroscience 2024. The Bernice Grafstein Award for Outstanding Accomplishments in Mentoring will be given to Nina Schor and Marina Wolf, who have both been supportive mentors and advocates for women in neuroscience. Maria Spillantini will receive the Mika Salpeter Lifetime Achievement Award for her research on neurodegenerative diseases. Amber Alhadeff and Vidhya Rangaraju will be honored with the Janett Rosenberg Trubatch Career Development Award for their innovative research on brain mechanisms and cellular functions.
