Abstract

A new report from Jilin University in China explores the impact of emotional and cognitive factors on anxiety symptoms in Chinese adolescents. The study found that high emotional intelligence, a high level of psychological capital, and a positive coping style tendency were correlated with lower levels of anxiety symptoms in adolescents. The researchers concluded that teaching adolescents how to regulate their emotions and use positive coping strategies can help reduce the severity of anxiety symptoms. This research provides empirical evidence for further study and prevention of anxiety disorders in adolescents. [Extracted from the article]
