Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland, explored the effectiveness of combining dupilumab therapy with sublingual dust mite allergen immunotherapy (SLIT-HDM) in patients with severe atopic dermatitis (AD) and house dust mite (HDM) allergies. The study found that combination treatment with dupilumab and SLIT-HDM resulted in significant improvements in patients' symptoms compared to treatment with either method alone. The researchers concluded that this combination therapy may offer increased therapeutic benefits for patients with severe AD and HDM allergies. Further information on the study can be found in the journal article "Dupilumab and House Dust Mite Immunotherapy in Patients with Atopic Dermatitis: A Preliminary Study."
