Abstract

A recent study conducted by Federation University Australia explored the psychological well-being and help-seeking behaviors of international nursing students in undergraduate programs. The study found that international students face additional challenges such as difficulty understanding the curriculum, culture shock, and language barriers, which can increase their risk of developing mental health problems compared to domestic students. The research highlighted the need for financial and settlement support upon arrival, as well as additional academic support tailored for international students to help them keep up with academic workloads. The study did not involve patient or public contributions. [Extracted from the article]
