Abstract
- A recent report from researchers at Saveetha University in Tamil Nadu, India discusses the use of advanced nanomaterials to address concerns related to the widespread use of pharmaceutical drugs like carvedilol. The researchers have developed ZnO-Cu3SnS4 nanocomposites (NCs) for enhanced photocatalytic degradation of carvedilol. The NCs have been characterized and shown to have a high degradation efficiency of 98% under optimal conditions. The study highlights the potential of these NCs for efficient wastewater treatment and addressing issues related to pharmaceutical drug contamination. [Extracted from the article]
