Abstract
- This article discusses a long-standing collaboration between a clinical psychology program and a state mental health department in Colorado. The collaboration aims to educate and train doctoral students in data-based decision making in public mental health systems of care. The partnership provides graduate assistantships and opportunities for students to contribute to clinical science through practice-based research. The article highlights the outcomes of the collaboration, including the placement of students in leadership positions and their positive perceptions of their learning and development.
