Abstract

The article presents a study which aimed at extraction of anthocyanin and carotenoid from flowers of nine common landscape plants through four aqueous extraction methods with varying temperature and microwave resistance. Topics discussed include effect of species and method of extraction on anthocyanin content of pigments, effect of temperature on the carotenoids content of flower pigments, and effect of temperature on the anthocyanin content of flower pigments.
