Abstract
- Researchers at Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy in Karnataka, India, conducted a study to improve the dissolution profiles of Oxcarbazepine (OXC) tablets. They formulated liquisolid tablets using different liquid vehicles and conducted in vitro drug dissolution testing. The study found that the dissolution rate of oxcarbazepine was highest from liquisolid tablets formulated using Polyethylene glycol 200. The research concluded that the best formulation (F2) showed no incompatibility between the drug and excipients used. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. [Extracted from the article]
