Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Institut Teknologi Sumatera explored the correlation between dietary patterns and the severity of Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) symptoms. The study found that higher consumption of ultra-processed foods was associated with increased severity of PMS, particularly in physical symptoms and daily disturbances. However, dietary preference did not influence PMS symptoms of dysphoric disorder. These findings contribute to our understanding of PMS and may help identify suitable dietary patterns to reduce its symptoms.
