Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Hangzhou Dianzi University in China explores the use of screen-printed electrodes (SPEs) as low-cost sensors for detecting breast cancer biomarkers. The study discusses the principles and fabrication techniques of SPEs, as well as various modification strategies to enhance sensor performance. The researchers analyze the application of SPEs in detecting protein, genetic, and metabolite biomarkers associated with breast cancer, and also explore the integration of SPEs with microfluidic systems and wearable devices for continuous monitoring. The study concludes by discussing future perspectives and the potential for improved breast cancer management through SPE-based biosensors. [Extracted from the article]
