Abstract
- A recent study conducted in Messina, Italy, explored the effects of virtual reality (VR) rehabilitation training on post-stroke executive and praxis skills, as well as depression symptoms. The study found that VR training resulted in significant improvements in praxis skills and behavioral functioning in stroke patients. The experimental group that received VR training showed greater enhancements in cognitive function, reductions in apraxia symptoms, and improvements in depression symptoms compared to the control group. These findings suggest that VR could be a promising tool for reducing cognitive and motor impairments caused by stroke. [Extracted from the article]
