Abstract

A study conducted at B J Medical College in Gujarat, India, explored the clot waveform analysis of prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) in various disorders affecting the blood coagulation system. The study used automated coagulation analyzers to evaluate the clotting cascade by analyzing clot reaction curves or waveforms. The research found that different disorders exhibited distinct patterns in the clot waveform analysis, providing valuable information for further testing and understanding of these disorders. The study contributes to the broader understanding of blood proteins and their role in clot formation. [Extracted from the article]
