Abstract

A recent report from the Institute of Medical in Sao Paulo, Brazil, discusses a case of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma in the orbital region. MALT lymphomas are rare conditions, and most non-Hodgkin's lymphomas of the orbit are extranodal lymphomas of B cells of the marginal zone of the MALT. The report highlights the importance of imaging tests and microsurgical biopsy for early diagnosis and surgical planning. The study emphasizes the need for further research and diagnostic elucidation in the field of MALT lymphoma. [Extracted from the article]
