Abstract
- A recent study conducted in Lagos State, Nigeria, examined the prevalence of hypertension among bank employees and identified specific risk factors. The study found that 33.3% of participants had hypertension, with higher body mass index (BMI) being significantly associated with increased odds of hypertension. Other risk factors included prior hypertension diagnosis, family history of hypertension, smoking, and adding salt to food. The study highlights the need for targeted interventions and health promotion initiatives to address the high prevalence of hypertension among bank employees. [Extracted from the article]
