Abstract
- This article discusses the development of an open-source software pipeline called "NeuroCaptain" that allows for the creation of customizable and anatomically accurate 3D printable head caps for functional neuroimaging studies. The aim of this tool is to enhance the reproducibility of neuroimaging studies by providing a standardized design that can accommodate diverse probe configurations and experimental procedures. The resulting head cap designs can be easily printed using off-the-shelf printers and filaments, preserving the head topology and landmarks. This tool not only allows for personalized head cap designs but also provides an open platform for the community to propose standardizable head caps, facilitating multi-centered data collection and sharing.
