Abstract

DeWalt has introduced Powershift, a new system of heavy-duty concrete tools that are designed to work together with their batteries for increased energy efficiency and durability. The Powershift batteries feature lithium-ion pouch cells, which take up less space, run cooler, and deliver more charge cycles compared to cylindrical cells. The Powershift system includes a plate compactor, backpack vibrator, rammer, power screed, and core drill, all of which have been developed with input from contractors to improve ergonomics and functionality. GatorBar is a composite rebar that is lighter and stronger than steel, making it a viable alternative. RainStick is a recirculating shower system that uses 80% less water and energy than standard fixtures, while A. O. Smith's Adapt Premium Condensing Gas Tankless Water Heaters with X3 Scale Prevention Technology prevent scale buildup and offer increased efficiency and lifespan. Rousseau's Table Saw Stand provides a sturdy and convenient solution for working with long stock or larger panels, and Pivot-All wheelbarrows feature pivoting hand grips for improved stability and maneuverability. Holstery offers a range of tool pouches and holsters, including the Joey Pouch, which is slim and has a belt hook for easy access to tools and fasteners. [Extracted from the article]
