Abstract
- Toronto asset manager Brookfield has agreed to invest up to $1.1 billion in sustainable aviation fuel company Infinium. The investment includes $200 million directly in Infinium and its aviation fuel plant, Project Roadrunner, which is being developed in West Texas. Brookfield will also invest up to $850 million in other Infinium projects globally. This marks Brookfield's first investment in sustainable aviation fuel, and the company will lead Infinium's Series C stock offering. Project Roadrunner aims to produce lower-emissions aviation fuel using renewable power and waste CO2, as well as low-carbon diesel for the trucking industry. [Extracted from the article]
