LUMINOUS VOICES: THRIVING WITH NEW CREATIONS AND GREAT MASTERWORKS.

Luminous Voices is a professional choir in Calgary, founded by Artistic Director Timothy Shantz in 2012. The choir has attracted local singers who have returned to Calgary after pursuing voice studies elsewhere, as well as exceptional singers from outside Alberta. The 2024-25 season includes a special program featuring a reprise of composer Zachary Wadsworth's The Far West, as well as new works by Southern Alberta composers Jesse Plessis and Sonny-Ray Day Rider.
