On the Possibility of Measuring the Electronic Work Function of Nonvolatile Materials by High-Temperature Mass Spectrometry.

The possibility of measuring the work function of metals and salt systems by measuring the partial pressures of the ionic component of the gas phase using the Knudsen effusion method combined with mass spectrometric analysis of evaporation products was studied.
