Abstract
- A recent study conducted by Yan'an University explores the use of exosomes as diagnostic markers for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The prevalence of IBD is high in Asia, causing significant physical and mental burdens for patients. Early detection and treatment of IBD is crucial for better remission outcomes, but currently, there is no non-invasive and cost-effective method for early diagnosis. The study reviews various proteins from different tissues and tissue sections, emphasizing the importance of liquid tissue sections in diagnosing IBD.
