Abstract

The article presents a study from China University of Geosciences focused on an innovative electrochemical aptamer-based (EAB) sensor for the ultrasensitive detection of cardiac troponin I (cTnI). This study introduces a ferricyanide-mediated, electrocatalytic mechanism that enhances the sensor's sensitivity, achieving a 1000-fold improvement with a detection limit of 10 pg/mL. The research aims to simplify and improve the efficacy of early diagnosis for acute myocardial infarction.
