Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at Jiangsu University in China explored the clinical application value of a multi-modal pulmonary nodule diagnosis model for veterans. The study enrolled 289 patients with pulmonary nodules and used various methods, including metabolic fingerprints, protein biomarker CEA, and image analysis, to calculate the malignant probability score of each patient. The results showed that the multi-modal diagnosis model had good diagnostic performance in differentiating between benign and malignant nodules, outperforming existing models. The researchers concluded that the multi-modal diagnosis model has potential clinical application value. [Extracted from the article]
