Abstract
- A new report discusses research conducted at Hunan University of Arts and Science on the influence of cytokine-enhanced rate and antibody delay on viral infection in the context of HIV/AIDS. The researchers propose a model that includes multiple time delays, such as intracellular delay, virus replication delay, and antibody delay. The stability of the model's equilibria is investigated, and it is found that the antibody immune response delay can lead to stability switches and Hopf bifurcation. The theoretical results are supported by numerical simulations. This research provides insights into the dynamics of HIV infection and the impact of immune response delays.
